Supporting Young People with Funded Transition Support
We’re thrilled to announce that, thanks to generous funding from the Boots Charitable Trust, The Mason Foundation is now offering the Propel Programme completely free to secondary schools, SEN schools, and colleges in Southend.
What is Propel?
Propel is a practical, supportive programme created to help young people—particularly those with neurodivergent needs—prepare for the transition from education into the working world. With specialist resources and experienced guidance, the programme aims to build confidence, skills, and real-world connections.
What’s Included?
Schools and colleges taking part will benefit from:
- Specialist resources developed with NATSPEC college experts.
- Tailored support for teachers, SENCOs, and educational staff.
- Engaging, practical workshops and activities for students.
Why Take Part?
The Propel Programme offers a range of meaningful benefits:
- Increases student confidence and career readiness.
- Provides staff with the tools to better support neurodivergent learners.
- Strengthens links between education settings and local employers.
This initiative is a unique chance to bring long-lasting impact to your students and staff; at no cost to your school or college.
